early july

mostly sunny a stormy day or two highs in the mid 80s heat waves in the low 90s nighttime lows rarely below 60 very bright and humid dew points in the 60s and 70s 

mid july

most days cloudy or stormy strong to severe storms and significant straight line winds possible highs in the upper 80s heat waves in the upper 90s or low 100s

late july

a small cooldown from mid july but heat still in the upper 80s to low 90s sunny part time and severe tornadic storms possible or likely july 20-23

early august 

hottest days of the year averages in the low 90s with extreme heat spikes of up to 103 and feels like up to 115 caution is advised for aug 1-7 as a multi day severe weather stretch seems possible nighttime lows could approach 75.

mid august

summer begins to come to a close and so does the heat. highs in the mid 80s and an occasional 90 day persistent rain and showers. lows drop back into the low 60s.

late august

as summer ends the temperatures drop to the high 70s and occasional 80s thunderstorms remain a low possibility a significant drought could impact crops and the return to school nighttime lows drop back into the 50s as fall soon begins.
